Kang Sam Choi was in the Scott County jail Monday, five days after he allegedly endangered his 4-year-old son's life by leaving him in his car while he played casino blackjack on a subzero night.

Choi, 44, of Brooklyn Park, made an initial court appearance Monday and is next due in court March 7.

The boy was reunited with his mother, police said.

According to charges, Choi drove to Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake last Wednesday and left his son in his unheated car for more than 90 minutes.
