Zoe Busiek works as a croupier in Las Vegas when, suddenly, she is forced to leave her job because of her sister’s death in a traffic accident. Therefore, Zoe has to leave her blackjack table to take care of her nephews in Chicago since their father left them a while ago.

To move on with her new life, Zoe needs to find a new job, which won’t be easy in a new city that is completely different to Las Vegas and job offers are also different from her croupier job. In addition to all that, the insurance company refuses to help her because they claim that her sister committed suicide. That is when Zoe decides to dedicate herself to the investigation of what happened in the accident. The boss of the insurance company is amazed by Zoe’s capacity of investigation and hires her to solve fraud cases.

This is the beginning of her new life as an investigator and, from now on, she will be in charge of solving several cases while she also has to be a mother, a job that she is not familiar with and winning the children’s love and trust is a hard job.

In this TV series Zoe and her partner will have to solve any kind of crimes, from robbery to murder, in the most unexpected way. She will face situations she never thought she’d face when being a blackjack croupier in Las Vegas.
