On December 29th, Warwickshire will hold a 24-hour poker tournament in the name of charity. All the money collected will be given to the Myton House Hospice, an institution that needs £5 million to build and buy equipment for new facilities for their increasing number of patients. Fred Hepburn of Enterprise Inns, will host the poker marathon.
This event is possible thanks to the changes introduced by the 2005 Gambling Act, which allow pubs to offer low and no stakes poker.
